چکیده

This study aimed to investigate whether dimensional constructs of psychopathology relate variation in patterns brain development and determine these share common neurodevelopmental profiles. Psychiatric symptom ratings from 9312 youths (8–21 years old) the Philadelphia Neurodevelopmental Cohort were parsed into 7 independent dimensions clinical representing conduct, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, attention, depression, bipolar, psychosis symptoms. Using a subset this cohort with structural magnetic resonance imaging (n = 1313), normative model morphology was established then applied predict age We investigated deviation brain-predicted true chronological age, called gap, explained individual each dimension. Individual gap significantly associated (t 3.16, p .0016), obsessive-compulsive symptoms 2.5, .01), general 4.08, < .0001). Linked dimensions of psychopathology and connectivity in functional brain networks

1 Neurobiological abnormalities associated with psychiatric disorders do not map well to existing diagnostic 2 categories. High co-morbidity and overlapping symptom domains suggest dimensional circuit-level 3 abnormalities that cut across clinical diagnoses. Here we sought to identify brain-based dimensions of 4 psychopathology using multivariate sparse canonical correlation analysis (sCCA) in ...
